Enzo Maresca outlines early plans and priorities as Manchester City’s new boss

Enzo Maresca, appointed to follow Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, used a pre-season interview in Seoul to detail his early strategy. He praised the league’s overall quality and highlighted a multilingual backroom staff that includes first-team coach Danny Walker. Finally, he said the next captain will be chosen internally, with Erling Haaland and Ruben Dias among the leadership group after Bernardo Silva’s departure.
