Erdoğan and Subianto pledge deeper trade and defence ties, invite to Antalya summit

Erdoğan expressed satisfaction with the countries’ joint stance in international forums and argued that continued solidarity would benefit both nations. He called for an expansion of cooperation across multiple fields, with particular emphasis on trade and defence industry collaboration, and said Turkey would keep taking steps to deepen these ties.
The call also included an invitation for Subianto to attend the COP31 Leaders Summit, which will be held in the Turkish resort city of Antalya. The leaders have previously discussed raising bilateral trade to $10 billion and have been working to strengthen defence cooperation in recent years.
