Eric Adams aide advertises phantom charity gala with celebrity lineup

Alisa Roever, identified as an associate of New York City Mayor Eric Adams, advertised a New Year’s Eve celebration in St. Barts, presenting it as a fundraiser for her Angels Helpers charity and displaying the logos of the Big Art Festival and FIFA. The flyer listed performances by Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent and DJ Khaled, but the event’s website was non-functional and both Snoop Dogg’s and 50 Cent’s representatives confirmed they were not involved.

Sources indicate the Big Art Festival is holding an intimate, non-ticketed concert with 50 Cent on the same date, unrelated to Angels Helpers. After the post disappeared, Roever, who has previously promoted other phantom events—including a cancelled gala that sold tickets up to $11,000 and a promised “Mayor Gala” after the Met Gala—did not respond to comment requests. An Adams spokesperson was unavailable for comment. The recurring pattern raises concerns about the charity’s fundraising practices.
