Eric Dane called Oasis reunion in Tokyo a minor miracle amid ALS fight

Actor Eric Dane described seeing Oasis perform together in Tokyo as a "minor miracle" while confronting his ALS diagnosis, as recounted in his posthumous memoir.

The Grey's Anatomy star, diagnosed with ALS in April 2025 and passing away in February at age 53, visited Tokyo in October 2025 with close friends to see Oasis reunite on stage. In a passage shared from his memoir, he said the brothers' hug and renewed camaraderie offered him hope, calling the experience a "minor miracle" amid his battle with the disease. He recounted first noticing neurological issues while eating sushi in January 2024, and later incidents where he could not swim or embrace his daughters.

The memoir also details emotional moments with his children, Billie and Georgia, as his physical abilities declined. Dane’s reflections highlight how music and family provided comfort during his final months.
