The airline posted an image with Haaland’s hair edited onto a plane and added the tagline “We’ve never looked more Norwegian,” which it subsequently deleted. A virtual planning meeting has been arranged to address the dispute, but the specific allegations have not been made public.
The lawsuit follows the airline’s removal of the contentious post. At the time of the filing, Haaland is in Wales training with the national team ahead of a Nations League fixture. No comment was obtained from Norwegian regarding the case.
