Esteban Ocon to leave Haas at season's end, future undecided

French Formula 1 driver Esteban Ocon stated he will not continue with Haas beyond one outlet season, leaving his future plans unspecified. The announcement came ahead of the Bahrain Grand Prix, where team boss Ayao Komatsu highlighted Ocon’s professionalism and commitment despite a difficult campaign. Ocon, who joined Haas after four years at Alpine, managed only seven points this season compared with 38 in his debut year with the team.

Haas is reportedly considering 21-year-old Ferrari development driver Rafael Câmara, who leads the Formula 2 standings, as his successor. Oliver Bearman from England currently occupies the second seat. The team also has open driver slots for the 2027 season, including positions at the Racing Bulls outfit.
