Etihad unveils spacious new first- and business-class cabins for 2027 A330neo
Etihad Airways displayed mock-ups of its upcoming first- and business-class cabins for the A330neo that will enter service in 2027, featuring lie-flat seats, large 4K screens and enhanced privacy.
Etihad Airways showcased new cabin concepts for its upcoming Airbus A330neo during the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai, planning to launch the aircraft in September 2027 on regional and medium-haul routes from Abu Dhabi. The wide-body will host four first-class suites and 24 business-class seats, each equipped with privacy doors, lie-flat seats and 4K screens—32 inches in first class and 17.3 inches in business. Both cabins support Bluetooth connectivity for personal headphones, wireless charging, a 60-watt USB-C port and a universal 110-volt outlet, and feature integrated control panels.
The first-class suite includes a hidden “personal powder room” and a Giorgio Armani amenity kit, while business class offers a LaNeige kit and optional loungewear on longer trips. The layout places first-class directly ahead of business, creating a seamless transition between the two sections. Although the mock-ups suggest a luxurious experience, ticket prices are likely to remain high, with existing first-class fares on Etihad’s 787 at about $6,000 round-trip.
