EU lawmaker Paolo Inselvini opens anti-abortion exhibit in Strasbourg, denounces funding up to ninth month

MEP Paolo Inselvini inaugurated the 'Just Euman' exhibition at the European Parliament, warning against public financing of abortions even in the ninth month.

During a ceremony at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, Paolo Inselvini, an MEP for Fratelli d'Italia, opened the 'Just Euman - Come nasce un cittadino europeo' exhibition, a project he promoted and curated with Pro Vita & Famiglia. The showcase illustrates the stages of human development from conception through birth, aiming to counter what Inselvini called daily assaults on life. He warned that some politicians seek to finance abortions up to the ninth month and asserted that the exhibit would generate controversy but also move consciences and meet objectives.

Inselvini stressed that supporters should be proud of the impact, noting that the initiative transforms religious belief into tangible values even when faced with discrimination. The event underscores the ongoing debate within the EU over abortion policy and public funding.
