EU-Turkey Business Summit Returns to Brussels to Boost Economic Ties

The Foreign Economic Relations Board of Türkiye (DEİK) and the European Business Summit will host the second EU-Turkey Business Summit in Brussels on Oct. 13, focusing on deepening economic cooperation.

On Oct. 13, Brussels will host the second EU-Turkey Business Summit, co-organized by DEİK and the European Business Summit at the Egmont Palace. The event will feature Turkish Trade Minister Ömer Bolat, Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar, European Commissioner for Trade Maros Sefcovic and over 500 representatives from global companies. Delegates will discuss modernising the Customs Union, boosting competitiveness, and strengthening supply-chain security across the EU-Turkey corridor.

DEİK President Nail Olpak described the partnership as deeply integrated and called for a more ambitious, future-oriented framework. Mehmet Ali Yalçındağ noted that the combined economic weight of the EU and Turkey exceeds $20 trillion, offering a powerful global hub if integration deepens further.
