Expert IT is initiating a substantial AI hardware deployment in Reghin, installing 56 NVIDIA B300 accelerators within seven servers as the opening stage of its investment program. The project encompasses the necessary power supplies, cooling infrastructure and other equipment to enable high-speed computing. According to Mihai Farcaș Dan, the initiative aims to create AI models that can assist doctors by providing faster diagnoses in fields like oncology and cardiology.

The company envisions the Reghin site becoming a regional AI hub over the next few years. Beyond Romania, Expert IT is exploring similar projects in Poland, the Republic of Moldova, Switzerland, Dubai and other locations. An additional potential upgrade involving 512 video cards is also under discussion.
