Fabletics to Add Around 20 New International Stores in the Coming Year

Fabletics plans to open roughly 20 stores outside the United States over the next 12 months, bringing its global total to about 45 locations.

Fabletics announced a plan to roll out approximately 20 new brick-and-mortar locations abroad within the next year, a step that will triple its international retail footprint and push the total store count to around 45 worldwide when combined with 25 planned U.S. openings. The expansion will reach new territories including India, the United Arab Emirates, Colombia, Peru and Central America, adding to its existing sites in Mexico, Guatemala, Dubai and a shop-in-shop in Berlin, which also houses its European headquarters.

The company recently surpassed $1 billion in revenue with a 20% increase, fueling confidence to pursue a $2 billion revenue target and a four-fold rise in EBITDA over five years. CEO Adam Goldenberg highlighted retail as an increasingly vital growth driver, while President Meera Bhatia described stores as a strategic complement to the brand’s membership-based digital model. In India, Fabletics will partner with Reliance Brands, opening its first store at DLF Promenade in New Delhi and a second in Mumbai, alongside a dedicated e-commerce site. The brand is also broadening its product range beyond leggings to include men’s apparel, wellness wear and scrubs, leveraging celebrity and cultural collaborations to evolve into an active-lifestyle label.

Why it matters

The expansion signals a major shift for a digital-first brand toward physical retail, affecting global apparel markets and consumer shopping habits.
