Fake presidential motorcade seized after replica 'Beast' limo drives through Long Island

A conservative pro-Trump Facebook group called Setauket Patriots organized a mock motorcade that included a replica of the president’s heavily armored limousine, often referred to as “The Beast.” The imitation vehicle, fitted with red and blue flashing lights, drove through Long Island intersections, causing other drivers to yield. Southampton police officer Det. Herman Lamison stopped the limo, cited the driver for illegal use of emergency lights, improper license plates and registration, and subsequently impounded the vehicle.

A participant in the stunt also dressed as a Secret Service agent and brandished a fake firearm. The group's founder, James Robitsek, said the props were intended solely for theatrical effect and that there was no malicious intent. The Secret Service has launched its own investigation into the unauthorized use of the presidential vehicle replica.
