Family sues Neuilly-Plaisance nursing home over alleged neglect leading to mother's death
Three families have filed a complaint accusing the Les Lauriers de Plaisance EHPAD in Neuilly-Plaisance of neglect that they say hastened the death of a 95-year-old resident with Alzheimer’s.
Sylviane Le Parc, whose mother Angèle died on 17 January 2024 at age 95, alleges that repeated mistreatment at the Les Lauriers de Plaisance nursing home contributed to her mother’s death. The home, operated by the Clariane group (formerly Korian), had housed Angèle since 2018. Le Parc and two other families have lodged a legal complaint for "non-assistance à personne en danger" against the facility. The case highlights concerns about care standards for elderly residents with dementia.
