Family tragedy in Toulouse: three killed, father later found dead by suicide

Police say a father allegedly murdered his two-year-old child, the child's mother and a senior relative in their Toulouse home before taking his own life.

During a police visit to a Toulouse apartment following a reported family dispute, officers entered the flat around 1:30 a.m. and found three victims: a two-year-old child, the child's mother and a sixty-year-old woman. Hours later, the father of the child was located dead, and early evidence points to suicide after he allegedly killed the other three. Toulouse prosecutors have launched an investigation, assigning it to the Division of Organized and Specialized Crime (DCOS).

The authorities are treating the incident as a triple homicide followed by the father's suicide. The motive appears linked to a domestic conflict that escalated dramatically. The case remains under active investigation.
