Faridabad Teen Leaps to Death After Alleged Four-Hour School Punishment

Around 1 pm on Tuesday, an 11th-grade pupil at a private school in Dabua Colony, Faridabad, jumped from the building's third floor and was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. Her father alleges that a teacher humiliated her by making her stand outside the classroom for four hours because she had gone to eat biryani without informing anyone. He maintains she was not involved in a lunchtime fight and was punished unfairly.
The school principal refuted the claim, stating the student merely requested to use the washroom before the incident. Police officials noted that the family has not filed a formal complaint yet, but promised to initiate action once one is submitted. The SHO, Dabua Sumer Singh, confirmed the investigation is pending a complaint.
