He also explained that the phrase is a common expression in his dialect and was not meant offensively.

After the backlash, Åndal contacted Chihiluka to apologize and assure her the comment was not intended to harm. TV 2, the broadcaster, distanced itself from the threats, expressing sadness and emphasizing that such behavior is unacceptable.
