Fatal two-car collision on highway near Kisújszállás leaves one dead and two injured

Authorities reported a fatal traffic accident on the 151 km marker of Highway 4 in the outskirts of Kisújszállás. Two automobiles collided under circumstances that have not yet been clarified, causing one vehicle to stop in the roadside vegetation and the other to overturn onto its roof. A person became pinned under the overturned car while another was ejected from the impact. The Kisújszállási Önkormányzati Tűzoltó-parancsnokság arrived, called for additional fire and medical units, and employed hydraulic spreaders and cutters to extricate the trapped occupant and prevent further movement of the wreckage.

After successful rescue, the injured were transferred to paramedics for higher-level treatment, and one victim was confirmed dead. The operation and investigation proceeded with the road fully closed.
