Father blames Aditya Thackeray and Dino Morea for daughter’s death

Satish Salian, whose daughter Disha Salian was found dead in a Malad housing complex in June 2020, has formally accused Shiv Sena UBT leader Aditya Thackeray and actor Dino Morea of being linked to her death. He provided a recorded statement to the Central Bureau of Investigation, which has begun a new inquiry overseen by DSP Puran Kumar. The allegation follows a similar claim made by BJP leader Narayan Rane.

The CBI, which previously received documents from the Malwani police, has not commented on the latest development. The Bombay High Court had earlier directed that an FIR be filed and that a senior CBI officer supervise the investigation, after the original police report concluded suicide with no foul play. The court also ordered that no individual be named as an accused in the FIR.
