Fidesz leader Bóka János warns of imminent crackdown on right-wing circles

Bóka János, head of the Fidesz parliamentary group, warned that a concerted hunt against right-wing activists and officials is set to start next week. He pointed to a series of recent moves: the state seized the influential right-wing weekly one outlet, removed Schmidt Mária from her post at the Terror Háza Museum and closed the museum temporarily, and forced the Tisza River authority to dictate exhibition content. He also mentioned ongoing harassment of the Centre for Human Rights and its staff, describing the measures as politically motivated.

According to Bóka, the campaign will first target the community's intellectual hubs before moving on to individual members and leaders. He urged supporters not to be frightened, emphasizing resilience against intimidation.
