Fiji Airways reinstates twice-weekly direct flights to New Caledonia
Fiji Airways has started twice-weekly nonstop service between Nadi and Nouméa, adding over 10,000 seats a year.
The airline resumed direct flights on Tuesdays and Fridays, using a Fiji Link ATR 72-600. Managing Director and CEO Paul Scurrah called the route a key milestone for regional connectivity. The new corridor links two Pacific hubs that host several intergovernmental and development agencies, facilitating travel for officials and consultants. The service is expected to provide more than 10,000 seats annually between Fiji and New Caledonia.
