Fin.K.L announces full-group comeback after two decades

Fin.K.L's agency Gemstone E&M confirmed that all four original members will resume full-group activities for the first time since 2005.

Gemstone E&M announced that the four founding members of Fin.K.L—Lee Hyo-ri, Ock Joo-hyun, Lee Jin and Sung Yu-ri—are reuniting for ongoing group activities, the first such effort in 21 years. The agency emphasized that this initiative goes beyond a single reunion event. The last time the full lineup performed together was in 2005 with the digital track "Forever Fin.K.L."

A 2019 appearance on the JTBC show "Camping Club" involved a new song but was considered a program-specific project, not a full comeback. Fin.K.L debuted in 1998 and helped shape the early K-pop girl-group scene with hits like "Blue Rain" and "Eternal Love." Preparations for future releases and promotions are now underway.

Why it matters

Fans and the K-pop industry will see a rare revival of a pioneering girl group after more than two decades.
