Fire damages three terrace homes in Rawang, including lawyer's residence
A blaze early this morning damaged three two-storey terrace houses in Bandar Country Homes, Rawang, with no injuries reported.
Around 3:06 am an emergency call reported a fire at Bandar Country Homes in Rawang, triggering a deployment of 15 firefighters from the Rawang Fire and Rescue Station and support from the Batu Arang station. Arriving at 3:17 am, crews found the blaze engulfing the upper portions of three two-storey terrace houses, including the home of lawyer Mohamed Haniff Khatri Abdulla. Damage assessments indicated roughly 80% loss to the first house, 20% to the second and 5% to the third, while a nearby Perodua Axia was about 90% destroyed. The fire was contained by 4:08 am and the operation concluded at 6:35 am, with no injuries reported.
