First Lady Mirabela Grădinaru tours Czech NGOs on youth addiction and mental health
Mirabela Grădinaru visited several Czech NGOs focused on preventing addictions among children and met with Czech First Lady Eva Pavlová during an official trip.
On a state visit to the Czech Republic, Mirabela Grădinaru inspected a number of NGOs dedicated to combating youth addictions and promoting mental-health services. In parallel, she conducted a bilateral meeting with Czech First Lady Eva Pavlová, focusing on shared priorities such as child health, inclusive schooling and psychosocial support for families. The Presidential Administration noted that the discussions underscored common concerns and the need for public-private collaboration.
Participants emphasized early-intervention strategies, the role of volunteer initiatives, and preserving Romanian language and culture among diaspora children. The trip was presented as an opportunity to adopt best practices from the Czech public-private network, which is considered more advanced in these areas.
