Five arrested as Guardia Civil dismantles three drug-selling sites in Ciudad Real

In the ‘Calarca’ operation, the Guardia Civil uncovered a network that produced and distributed various narcotics across three sites in the province of Ciudad Real. After monitoring unusual activity in Malagón, agents confirmed a stable drug-selling operation involving cocaine, marijuana and hashish, with a local intermediary linking sellers to buyers. A further investigation linked a resident of Fuente el Fresno to cocaine sales at a well-known pub.

Judicial authorities authorized searches of homes and a bar, resulting in the seizure of narcotics, cash, prohibited firearms and paraphernalia. Five individuals were taken into preventive detention, and two additional persons are being investigated for related offenses, including membership in a criminal group and electricity fraud.
