Around 11 a.m., a forklift ignited at a commercial property on Anton Road in Hemmant, a suburb of Brisbane. Firefighters responded and worked to keep the blaze from spreading to nearby shipping containers. Five individuals were taken to hospital: one with life-threatening burns to the chest, head and face, another with severe arm burns, and three suffering from smoke inhalation. All patients are receiving medical care.
