Persistent heavy rain has triggered flooding across three districts in Gua Musang, forcing local officials to set up emergency accommodation. Five provisional relief centres have been opened: Masjid Jeram Tekoh, Jeram Tekoh Zone 3 Community Hall, Sekolah Kebangsaan Jeram Tekoh, Felda Chiku 6 Community Hall and Sekolah Kebangsaan Limau Kasturi 1. As of 1.33 pm, these sites are sheltering 221 individuals representing 57 families.
The Social Welfare Department (JKM) reported the figures on its InfoBencana portal. The response aims to provide immediate safety and basic services while flood waters recede. No casualties have been reported, but the situation remains under close monitoring.
