Five women feared dead in Philadelphia house linked to violent porn production

Police stopped a black BMW parked illegally near Independence Mall, finding a 44-year-old driver with a counterfeit police badge, a passenger using an ID belonging to a woman reported missing in February 2023, several firearms with altered serial numbers, and various narcotics. The driver was arrested on weapons and drug charges. A later search of the house linked to the vehicle revealed five urns containing cremated remains, three of which are thought to be the ashes of the driver's father, his sister and a friend, while the other two remain unidentified.

The residence was previously occupied by the driver's father, an 82-year-old who died last year after a long career producing violent, BDSM-themed pornographic material. Investigators have sifted through more than a million digital images and videos, identifying 58 individuals, including two women reported missing in 2012 and 2018 who appear injured and likely deceased. The team has examined roughly 30 percent of the evidence and continues to seek DNA or other physical proof, while also analyzing chemicals found on the property that may have been used to destroy evidence.
