Flam secures $40 million Series B to boost AI interactive platform worldwide
AI startup Flam raised $40 million in a Series B round led by QED Investors and plans to expand its interactive AI products and global enterprise sales.
Flam, a company that creates AI-driven interactive content, announced a $40 million Series B financing led by QED Investors, with participation from Claypond Capital, Martin Chavez, Olivier Pomel, Venky Harinarayan, Shahrukh Khan and existing backers RTP Global and Dovetail. The capital will fund research and development of Flam's AI models, the addition of new formats to its suite, and the scaling of enterprise sales worldwide.
The firm claims more than 100 enterprise customers, including Google, State Farm and Diageo, are using its tools for marketing, product visualization, learning, entertainment and support. Flam's offerings include interactive videos that change scenes mid-playback, an editing model that alters specific image elements, high-fidelity 3D interfaces, and conversational visual agents. Founder Shourya Agarwal argues that interactivity is the next wave of internet content, while QED partner Nigel Morris highlighted the untapped potential in the content ecosystem that Flam is positioned to address.
