Florida man storms neighbor's house, hurls dog waste and threatens with child's scooter

Trey Decloedt, 35, was arrested after entering a Leesburg neighbor’s home, throwing dog feces at the homeowner, punching him and brandishing a metal scooter.

According to the arrest affidavit, Trey Decloedt, 35, entered a Leesburg residence after a long-running dispute about dog poop left on the property. While inside, he grabbed the offending waste and threw it at the homeowner, striking him in the face and leaving a visible mark on the victim’s forehead. The homeowner pushed Decloedt out, leading to a physical altercation in which Decloedt punched the man and then seized a metal scooter belonging to a child, holding it aloft as a threat.

Deputies observed animal feces outside the home and recorded the injuries. Decloedt claimed he had previously complained to the neighbor’s wife and that the couple had an informal agreement to enter each other’s homes without knocking, a claim contradicted by a recording the neighbor provided. He was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated battery, simple battery and burglary, posted $16,000 bail and is due back in court on Aug. 31.
