Foresight Autonomous to acquire controlling stake in Polish data centre projects
Israeli firm Foresight Autonomous Holdings signed a term sheet to buy a 50.01% share in a company developing two data centres in Poland.
Foresight Autonomous Holdings of Ness Ziona announced a non-binding term sheet to acquire a 50.01% controlling interest in a firm that is building two data centre projects in Poland. The target company will own two-thirds of each project, with the remaining one-third held by Polish entrepreneurs who are managing grid-connection applications and regulatory approvals. The Warsaw site in Ożarów is slated for roughly 130 MW on about 3.2 hectares, while the Wroclaw location is designed for up to 140 MW on around 10 hectares.
Financing will come via a seller loan, and Foresight intends to add further shareholder loans once a budget and milestones are agreed. This acquisition expands Foresight beyond its core 3D perception and collision-prevention technologies into Central and Eastern Europe's fast-growing digital infrastructure market.
Why it matters
The purchase expands an Israeli tech firm into Europe's booming data-centre sector, diversifying its business and tapping a high-growth market.
