Forestry Minister Celebrates Drone-AI System Winning National Military Competition
Indonesia's Forestry Minister praised the EagleEye Tactical SAR System after it secured first place in the 2026 TNI Commander's Cup for military drone development.
In a Sunday statement, Indonesia's Forestry Minister Antoni congratulated the ministry team for winning the top spot in the 2026 TNI Commander's Cup Open Tournament's Military Drone Development, SAR and Disaster Relief category. The victorious EagleEye Tactical SAR System integrates drone-based remote sensing with AI, offering both a Cloud AI Server for high-precision analysis and a Local Edge AI Agent for rapid processing in disconnected areas.
Features include a Python-driven nighttime imaging module, post-flight video review and low-latency alert distribution. The minister emphasized the system's potential to monitor fire hotspots, assess smoke density, identify firefighters and detect wildlife, urging its wider deployment for forest and land fire control and wildlife rescue throughout Indonesia.
