Former Bukit Besi assemblyman Roslee Daud passes away at 66
Roslee Daud, who served two terms as Bukit Besi assemblyman, died of heart complications at Dungun Hospital early Thursday.
Roslee Daud, aged 66, succumbed to heart-related issues at 5.30 am in Dungun Hospital. He represented Bukit Besi for Umno and Barisan Nasional from May 2013 until August 2023 and held a Terengganu executive council portfolio overseeing rural development, entrepreneurs, cooperatives and consumers. Funeral prayers will be performed at Masjid Bukit Besi after the noon prayers, followed by burial in the Bukit Besi Islamic Cemetery.

The death marks the loss of a long-serving local politician who shaped rural development policies in Terengganu.
