Former Cambridge sociology professor Jason Arday found dead in London
Jason Arday, who resigned from Cambridge amid plagiarism accusations, was discovered unresponsive at a Battersea address and pronounced dead.
The 41-year-old former professor of sociology of education at the University of Cambridge was found at a residence in Battersea, south London, on Friday afternoon. Emergency services were summoned by the London Ambulance Service, and Metropolitan Police officers attended the scene. Arday had stepped down last week after facing plagiarism allegations, which he denied. Police have described the death as unexpected and not suspicious.
