Former deputy IGP Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay leads FAM Integrity Committee

At its sixth Executive Committee meeting in Kelana Jaya, the Football Association of Malaysia named former deputy inspector-general of police Ayub Khan Mydin Pitchay as chair of the Integrity Committee for the 2025-2029 term. FAM president Ab Ghani Hassan said the move reflects a strategy of bringing in credible outsiders to strengthen governance. Pitchay will be assisted by Shuhaily Zain, the director-general of the Border Control and Protection Agency, as deputy chair.

The meeting also saw external experts appointed to lead the Referees Committee and the Stadium and Security Committee, with Bukit Aman officials Yusri Hassan Basri and Rozi Jidin taking those posts. Additional committee chairs were assigned, and all chairs have seven days to nominate members to begin work. Noor Azman Rahman remains secretary-general and Ismail Karim continues as treasurer for the new term.
