Former Kota Belud MP Yahya Lampong passes away, funeral to be held in Ampang
Yahya Lampong, who served as Kota Belud MP in the 1980s, has died.
The death of former Kota Belud MP Yahya Lampong was announced by his son Masley via Facebook. Details on the cause of death have not been released. His body will be taken to Nurul Islam Mosque in Ampang for Zohor prayers before burial. Lampong held the Kota Belud seat from 1982 to 1986 as an independent and later served as Tempasuk assemblyman on an Usno ticket. He also contested seats for Berjaya and PKR in earlier elections.
