Sai emphasized that after 40-50 years the region is now “Maoist-free” and that improved connectivity is essential for its integration and growth. He noted that existing population-based eligibility criteria hinder road projects for scattered habitations, and Chouhan pledged to consider the requested adjustments. The fashion show and the political push together signal a broader effort to transform a former conflict zone into a development focus.
