Former reality star Kelley Wolf apologizes for harmful actions during psychotic episode
Kelley Wolf publicly apologized for the distress she caused her husband Scott Wolf and their three children after a year-long psychotic break that led to an involuntary hold.
More than a year after being placed under an involuntary psychiatric hold in Utah County, Kelley Wolf used Instagram to detail her diagnosis of breakthrough drug-induced mania with psychosis, attributing it to stress, past trauma, hormonal changes, hallucinogens and prescribed medication. She recounted feeling as though her mind had been overtaken, describing delusional beliefs such as being a CIA operative and a presidential candidate.
In her apology, she admitted the actions and statements she made during that period caused deep hurt to her husband of twenty years, Scott Wolf, and their three children—Jackson, 17, Miller, 13, and Lucy Marie, 12. She referenced a prior divorce filing in which Scott alleged she planned false accusations against him, and noted a July 2025 custody arrangement granting him temporary sole physical custody. Kelley concluded by thanking Scott for his support and pledging to use her life to help others, while Scott responded with heart emojis.
