Former Valencian president Carlos Mazón refuses to answer flood inquiry in parliament

Deputies from Podemos and EH Bildu pressed him on whether he was absent or issuing orders during the crisis, to which he responded with irony and claimed the regional law was clear. A Compromís deputy also raised concerns about police preventing flood victims from reaching the parliament. The session took place as the Supreme Court prosecutor examines a potential false-testimony allegation linked to a PSPV complaint, months after the civil and criminal chamber of the Tribunal Superior de Justicia rejected an investigation into Mazón.
