FORTHING unveils TK5 and TK7 electric models at Paris Motor Show
FORTHING introduced two new NEV models, the TK5 and TK7, in Europe, highlighting advanced charging and flexible interior options for urban commuters and families.
FORTHING used the Paris Motor Show to debut its TK series, showcasing the TK5 and TK7 models for the European market. Executive Deputy General Manager Liu Xiaoping said the company’s Dual-Engine Plan, started in June 2025, drives progress in product development, localization, distribution and service. The TK5 is designed for younger urban users, combining a sleek aesthetic with a smart cockpit, and is available as a battery-electric vehicle with 800 V fast charging or as a plug-in hybrid.
The TK7 caters to global families, offering adaptable seating for five to eight passengers, numerous storage compartments, and a 6.6 kW V2L function, delivering up to 500 km on electric power and 1,100 km in hybrid mode. A V9 PHEV camper van also debuted, adding camping features such as a pop-up roof bed. FORTHING’s broader strategy includes nine KD plants across Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Africa, while a European factory is under construction for mass production in the first quarter of 2027.
