Foundation Denies Paid Access to President Nawrocki at New York Economic Summit

Before the Polish-American Economic Summit took place in Manhattan, reports emerged that the Centre for Strategic Development Foundation had created three sponsorship levels—Silver, Gold and Platinum—each allegedly linked to different degrees of access to President Karol Nawrocki. Both the Foundation and the President’s Office rejected these allegations, emphasizing that the summit was organized as a non-profit event and that partner contributions were used solely for venue, catering, translation, technical and media services.

They noted that the timing of the summit during the UN General Assembly drove up costs, making sponsorship the only viable financing method. The Foundation also clarified that no sponsor secured the highest tier and that no agreement promised meetings with the President or his staff. In response to the media coverage, the Foundation announced it will pursue legal proceedings against the publications it says spread false information.
