Four dead, including infant, after three-vehicle crash on East-West Highway near Gerik
A collision involving a lorry and two cars on the East-West Highway near Gerik killed four people, among them a baby girl, and injured a child.
Emergency services responded to a distress call at 12.56 pm and found a three-vehicle pile-up that included a lorry and two passenger cars. Four occupants of a Perodua Axia - two men, a woman and a baby girl - were pronounced dead at the scene. A boy traveling in the same vehicle sustained injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. The victims' bodies were handed over to police for further procedures.
