Four Dutch suspects arrested after massive synthetic drug lab dismantled in Bree, Belgium

In Bree, Belgium, law enforcement dismantled a substantial synthetic drug lab that had been manufacturing MDMA and crystal meth using professional equipment and large quantities of precursor chemicals. The raid resulted in the discovery of 180 kilograms of finished MDMA crystals and a cache of hydrogen gas bottles. Four Dutch suspects - two men aged 30 and 35 from Weert, a 61-year-old man from Sittard, and a 43-year-old man with Belgian nationality from Venlo - were arrested on Monday, followed by the arrest of a 34-year-old Belgian woman from Bree the next day.

Investigators also seized three vehicles, a modest amount of cash, five mobile phones, and later, during a separate search, an additional phone and cash. The Belgian prosecutor's office described the lab as one of the largest active operations in recent years.
