Four individuals charged in cross-border drug ring using cryptocurrency on dark web
Three Norwegians and a Swede have been indicted for large-scale trafficking of amphetamines, hashish, marijuana, cocaine and other drugs, with sales conducted via cryptocurrency on the dark web.
The Sør prosecutor's office announced that three Norwegian nationals and one Swedish citizen face charges in a major narcotics case that extends abroad. Authorities say the group handled roughly 135 kg of amphetamine and methamphetamine, about 630 kg of hashish and marijuana, and around 29 kg of cocaine. A substantial portion of the trade was carried out on the dark web, where payments were made using crypto-currency.

It shows how organized crime is exploiting cryptocurrency and the dark web to expand international drug trafficking.
