Four National Logistics Cell staff killed in armed attack near Pakistan-Iran border
Four National Logistics Cell employees were shot dead and their vehicle set ablaze by unidentified gunmen near Border Post No 250 in Gwadar district.
On Saturday, a pickup transporting four National Logistics Cell employees was ambushed by unknown gunmen on motorcycles near Border Post No 250, roughly 60 kilometres from Jiwani in Gwadar district. The assailants opened fire, killing Ghulam Mustafa (24), Sanam Masih (34), Kanwal Shehzad (36) and Danish Iqbal (26) before setting the vehicle on fire, destroying it completely. Police reported that the victims were carrying a substantial sum of cash, which the attackers allegedly took after the shooting.
A motorcycle recovered at the scene is believed to belong to the perpetrators. The incident highlights security concerns along the Pakistan-Iran frontier.
