Fox Crader's debut at left tackle shines in Oregon's win over USC
In the November 22 clash with USC, sophomore left tackle Fox Crader stepped in for an injured teammate and helped the Ducks keep a clean sack record.
Facing a high-stakes matchup versus the 8-2 USC Trojans, the Oregon Ducks dealt with a left-tackle injury that sidelined Isaiah World after an ankle sprain. Sophomore Fox Crader took over the position, marking his first major in-game experience, and the line allowed no sacks and only one quarterback hurry. Quarterback Dante Moore threw for 257 yards and two scores, and the ground attack added 179 yards and three touchdowns.
Offensive line coach A'lique Terry praised Crader's poise, saying the game proved he was ready to become the full-time starter in 2026. The performance also demonstrated Crader's ability to handle the Ducks' elite pass rushers, including Matayo Uiagalelei and Teitum Tuioti, in a pressure-filled environment at Autzen Stadium.
Why it matters
The game shows Oregon's depth at left tackle and signals Fox Crader's readiness for a starting role next season.
