Frank Turek releases new book honoring Charlie Kirk’s campus advocacy

Christian apologist Frank Turek has published a book that frames cultural issues as a "war on reality" and pays tribute to his late friend Charlie Kirk.

Frank Turek, a longtime defender of Christian apologetics, has launched "The War on Reality: Recovering Truth in a World that Celebrates Lies" with Phoenix Hayes. The text contends that prevailing cultural narratives on family, gender, education and politics contradict logic and urges Christians to challenge them. A foreword by Erika Kirk reveals that Charlie Kirk’s steadiness during campus debates derived from his belief in God, a sentiment Turek emphasizes throughout.

The author cites transgender legislation as a prime example of a harmful worldview, labeling it child abuse and a threat to women’s sports and facilities. Turek describes his mentorship of Kirk since 2020 and recounts being present when Kirk was shot at Utah Valley University. He concludes that Christians must enter the public square to safeguard religious liberty and enact laws against perceived evil.

Why it matters

It shows how a leading Christian author is mobilizing believers for cultural and political action after Kirk’s death.
