Freeths reports record turnover and fourth year of double-digit growth

Freeths revealed that its turnover reached £187.6 million, representing a rise of over 12% in the most recent financial year. This result extends a sequence of four straight years in which the firm has posted double-digit growth, with an overall increase of 83% across the last five years. The firm, which employs 187 staff in Yorkshire, said the surge reflects growing demand for specialist counsel as organisations and individuals navigate shifting commercial, regulatory and geopolitical landscapes.

National Managing Partner Karl Jansen highlighted the importance of service quality, long-term partnerships and the firm’s national capability in attracting both existing and new clients. He noted that clients are seeking broader support and practical, personal advice, reinforcing Freeths’ expanding sector knowledge.
