Fremantle drops Brandon Walker, brings back Judd McVee for Geelong semi
Defender Judd McVee has been reinstated for Fremantle's semifinal against Geelong, taking the spot of Brandon Walker.
Fremantle's coaching staff confirmed that defender Judd McVee will rejoin the lineup for the Friday night semifinal against Geelong, replacing Brandon Walker. Longmuir explained that McVee should focus on contested footy and trust his natural ability when he returns. McVee has experienced two omissions this season after establishing himself in defence following his move from Melbourne.
Walker, who made his first AFL appearance since the season opener last week, was forced out early after sustaining an ankle injury. The match will be played at Optus Stadium. Longmuir hinted that additional adjustments to the team could still be made before kickoff.
