Fuel tanker blast on Hamedan-Sanandaj highway kills ten, injures six

A fuel tanker exploded after a brake failure on the Hamedan-Sanandaj Highway in western Iran, killing ten people and wounding six.

The tanker, traveling the Hamedan-Sanandaj route, suffered a braking system fault that led to a collision and subsequent explosion. Emergency crews contained the resulting fire. The governor of Sanandaj reported ten fatalities and six injuries. No further casualties were reported.
