Fundamentum Frontier Advisors Secures ₹3,000 crore to Back Indian AI and Deeptech Startups

Fundamentum Frontier Advisors has raised ₹3,000 crore to invest in 12-15 Indian AI and deep-tech companies, with each stake ranging from ₹100-200 crore.

Fundamentum Frontier Advisors (F2A) announced that it secured aggregate subscriptions of ₹3,000 crore for its growth-stage AI and deep-tech strategy, drawing capital from Indian and foreign investors across two regulated vehicles. Nandan Nilekani, co-founder of Infosys and Aadhaar architect, joined as anchor investor and mentor. Because of strong demand, limited partners approved expanding the fund’s hard cap to ₹3,500 crore to accommodate additional interest.

F2A plans to deploy the capital over the next two to three years into 12-15 companies, investing ₹100-200 crore per deal, focusing on businesses where AI and deep-tech provide scale and defensibility. The firm sees India entering an AI investment supercycle and aims to help portfolio firms become category leaders by providing capital, customer introductions, and strategic support. Partners emphasized the focus on digital consumer AI, enterprise software, and deep-tech infrastructure.
